The Jury Evaluator of the FIMA 2018 Technical Novelties Contest, decides to GRANT,
in the category of "Driven machines and fixed and mobile installations",
The Denomination:
TECHNICAL NOVELTY for the "Speed Servo: system for opening the dosing flaps in centrifugal fertilizer spreaders"
presented by KUHN IBÉRICA, S.A.U. (RAUCH).
The motors realize the electrical opening of the dosing gates thanks to the principle of rotation drive,
with important advantages with respect to the electric actuators of linear effect previously used for the
operation of these gates.
Speed Servo motors are up to 3 times faster than previous ones with the same adjustment accuracy. Thanks
to the fast adjustment of the dosing organs and distributors with Speed Servo, the efficiency of the distribution of
the fertilizer spreaders Axis-4 (with hydraulic drive) increases up to 25%. They are resistant to wear,
corrosion and dirt; Its simpler and more robust structure facilitates cleaning and maintenance.
