Pioneering in the exhibition and congress field – since it initiated its activity with a contest of general nature in the 1940s – it has adapted both its commercial strategy and its venues to the market needs and requirements. It has provided all the essential services to a number of diverse types of events with professionalism and enjoyment.

The functional and polyvalent venue occupies a total of 360.000 m2, distributed in 11 exhibition halls of different sizes and wide outdoor areas. Located near the motorway, it is easily accessible from main Spanish capital cities. The distance from the city airport is 6km, and 9km from the city centre.


History

Feria de Zaragoza initiated its activity in 1941, with the celebration of an event of a general nature.

Following the trend and the evolution in the fields that integrated the event, a set of monographic exhibitions has been developed as far as the industrial sectors required it.

The philosophy of Feria de Zaragoza has focused on performing high-tech and specialized exhibitions in the corresponding fields, which has led it to be at the head of the European fair manifestations in a number of contests.

Sectors of the construction machinery and public works, agricultural machinery, management of water and environmental resources in all facets, winery equipment, winegrowing techniques, livestock, new technologies and energy take part in the content of its specialized fairs.


1900

  • 1941

    The first fair: In May, 1941, Feria Oficial de Muestras first edition was celebrated. Pioneering in Spain, it joined forces with unanimous habitants of Zaragoza.

  • 1964

    FIMA rises: In April, Feria Nacional de Maquinaria Agricola, a referent in the national calendar, was inaugurated.

  • 1981

    Outwards:In the 1970s and beginning of the 1980s, Feria de Zaragoza created an important international projection.

  • 1986

    New venue:The current location of Feria de Zaragoza was used for the first time in October, 1986 and it owes its success to modernity and versatility.

2000

  • 2002

    More professional: The team responsible for the institution have succeeded in greater professionality and boom.

  • 2008

    Year of records: development of the fair has reached its peak in 2008, a year in which the institution reached its historical high with almost one million visitors.

  • 2016

    75th anniversary: On 27th September, Feria de Zaragoza celebrated its 75th anniversary and the new corporate image was presented. /p>
