FIGAN 2021 moves its staging to September |
The 15th International Animal Production Show changes its dates and will be held from 7th to 10th September 2021, after consulting the change with the Organizing Committee.
| The next edition of FIGAN will take place from 7th to 10th September 2021, instead of March, as planned. The Organizing Committee of the international event, after meeting virtually, has valued positively moving the staging of the agro-livestock show to a date they consider “prudent” in order to ensure the safety of all participants. This measure also seeks to support and give visibility to a sector that has not ceased its activity and has become essential for the economic and social reactivation of the country on occasion of the pandemic.

The president of the Organizing Committee, Eduardo Berges, thanked FIGAN for its support and highlighted the “good behavior” that the sector has exhibited over the past few months, and thus considered that the next edition of FIGAN can be “very satisfactory if the health situation improves”.

The director of the show, Javier Camo, considers that FIGAN shows a "positive" photograph and good proof of this is that, currently and despite the months of pandemic, the number of companies that have registered to participate in the next edition is at 70% of the last edition and the occupied surface is at 77 percent.
