Internationalization

FIMA 2026 once again strengthens its international projection through a commercial missions program promoted together with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment. The program will include a business round on Monday 9 February, followed by professional visits on 10 and 11 February. So far, these missions involve participants from Ecuador, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Iraq, Lithuania, Serbia, Thailand, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, and Kenya.

Additionally, the missions organized by Feria de Zaragoza on 11 and 12 February will bring together buyers from Bulgaria, Chile, Morocco, Peru, Romania, Mexico, Poland, and Tunisia.
The 2026 edition will also feature a full program of parallel activities in the auditoriums and rooms of Hall 7, as well as the FIMA Tech Congress in Hall 9. Among the confirmed sessions are those organized by Angra, Campag, Agragex, Circe, Ansemat, the Government of Aragon, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fede, Aeryd, Ambimetrics Comunica-T, Hydac, and Zinnae, with new additions expected in the coming weeks.

FIMA Tech: one of the main new features of FIMA 2026

Located in Hall 9, FIMA Tech will bring together the leading technology agents connected to the agri-food sector, including companies, startups, spin-offs, universities, research centers, and public institutions. FIMA Tech will showcase solutions in robotics and agricultural automation, artificial intelligence, big data and predictive analytics, precision agriculture, digital platforms, IoT, and applied sensors, among other technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural operations.
The initiative aims to boost the digital transformation of the sector and become one of the key attractions of the 2026 edition.

FIMA will also host the Conecta Talento (Connect Talent) event in Hall 7, a space designed to promote networking between young professionals and companies in the sector. Following the success of this initiative during the last FIGAN edition, Feria de Zaragoza has decided to include it in FIMA as well, responding to requests from several exhibiting companies.
The goal is to encourage generational renewal, foster entrepreneurship, and promote employability in the agri-food industry, which, like the livestock sector, faces major challenges related to transformation and attracting young talent.

Feria de Zaragoza approaches this 44th edition of FIMA with a strong commitment to a fair model that is closer, more useful, and better aligned with the needs of the sector. With a broad exhibition offering, growing international participation, and a technical program that incorporates new initiatives such as FIMA Tech and Conecta Talento, the event continues to work to offer a professional meeting point that delivers value, drives innovation, and supports farmers, companies, and institutions in addressing current and future challenges in agriculture.
