Premio Maestro de Almazara Oleomaq 2019

The first edition of the OLEOMAQ Olive Oil Mill Master Award in its unique category of Professional Career, has the purpose of recognizing a continuous work or of special notoriety and importance of people, who with their work constitute an exemplary model and testimony for the olive sector.

The Prize is aimed at those people who work or have worked as masters of the mill.

 The winner of the Almazara Master Award OLEOMAQ, is Mr. Javier Sánchez Pedrós, who currently performs his work in Aceites Impelte del Bajo Martín, S.L.

He has been linked to the olive oil world for almost two decades, growing professionally from an operator to Maestro de Almazara, while he has been trained in different areas of knowledge.

In addition, she is a member of the Official Panel of Tasters of Virgin Olive Oil of Aragon and of the International Tasting Panel of TerraOlivo - Mediterranean Olive Oil Competition.

His commitment to the sector, the passion he puts into his work, his entrepreneurial capacity and his concern for quality make him the winner of the Almazara Master Award OLEOMAQ 2019.

 The winner of the Accésit is Mr. Miguel Ángel Carrasco Lajas, who currently performs his work in the Almazara As Pontis - Agropecuaria Carrasco, S.L.

Miguel Ángel Carrasco Lajas began his relationship with the olive oil world more than a decade ago, when his enthusiasm and interest led him to investigate the operation of oil mills, their equipment and processes.

If we take into account that in these ten years has been awarded different regional, national and international awards, and that produces the best ecological EVOO of Extremadura in the last 5 years, we can appreciate its commitment to the good work of the sector.

His passion and effort, together with his constant work make him worthy of this second prize.
