What is the Technical Innovations Awards?

The purpose of the Technical Innovations Contest is to recognize the products developed by those companies in the sector that invest in R+D+i, selecting the products that stand out for their technological contribution, innovation, and results in terms of market needs.

Its independent jury is made up in each edition by prominent professionals in the sector, and the award of the designation of Technical Novelty or Outstanding Technical Novelty is, without a doubt, recognition for exemplary work.

The Contest is aimed at exhibitors at SMAGUA 2023 and the deadline for submitting applications will close at 23:59 (GMT+2h) on December 14, 2022.

Exhibiting companies may participate in SMAGUA 2023, provided that the devices, equipment or systems meet the following requirements:
- They must have started to be commercialized after SMAGUA (October 2021).
- They must provide a technological development, which brings about an
improvement in efficiency, quality, safety and health at work or environmental
aspects.
- That they offer a technical evolution that can suppose an improvement of the effectiveness, of the quality, of the security in the work and of the environmental aspects.

In addition, they must complete the form and send via email the documentation required in point 5 of the call.
