What is the Technical Novelties Contest?

The Technical Novelties Contest aims to recognize the products developed by those companies in the sector that invest in R+D+i, selecting the products that stand out for their technological contribution, innovation, and results in terms of market needs.

Its independent jury is made up of distinguished professionals in each edition, and the awarding of the prize, in any of its three categories (GOLD, PLATA and BRONCE), is undoubtedly recognition for exemplary work.

The Contest is aimed at exhibitors at SMOPYC 2023 and the deadline for submission of applications will close at 23:59 hours (GMT+2h) on September 29, 2023.

Exhibiting companies may participate in SMOPYC 2023, provided that the devices, equipment or systems meet the following requirements:
- That they are presented for the first time at SMOPYC 2023.
- That they have not started to be marketed before November, 2021.
- They represent a technological innovation that brings about in an improvement in efficiency, quality, safety and health at work or in sustainability aspects.
- They fulfil current legislation, applicable to the novelties presented.

In addition, they must complete the form and send via email the documentation required in point 5 of the call.
